The Problem
The modernization of the offices and expansion of the warehouses made it evident that the chaos in the systems room and uncertified cabling represented a constant risk of network interruptions. Patrimonial security administration needed 24/7 visibility without suffocating the production network.
The Solution
Design and execution of a contingency plan for end-to-end physical structured rewiring, implementing TIA/EIA standards for racks and patch panels. Additionally, I installed dozens of high-definition IP Cameras connected to redundant NVRs. Heavy CCTV streaming traffic was completely isolated from corporate traffic by configuring segmentation and VLAN isolation on manageable Cisco/HP switches.
